Chris America Is a multi-award winning Madonna Tribute Artist and Professional Actor, She has had the pleasure of portraying one of the most influential, glamorous, controversial and dynamic media stars of the twenty first century. Chris is so convincingly authentic as Madonna, in likeness, character, stature, vocals, dance, and performance style she doubled as 'Madonna' at the MCI Center during the 'Drowned World Tour' for guest VIPs and was hired as the model for the actual facial mold of Madonna’s figurine at The Hollywood Wax Museum in Hollywood, California. Madonna herself has commented on Chris as “a good representation”.

Chris was chosen as the opening Headlining Act for the 2008 & 2012 Madonnathon - in honor of Madonna's 50th birthday celebration at BB Kings in NYC. Chris began her career in early 1984 as the original Madonna Impersonator to earn national name reconition in both the Tribute industry and Madonna's International fan community. Chris America has traveled world wide performing as Madonna for private and corporate events working with actual celebrities like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Joan Rivers, The Jean Paul Gautier International exhibit, for Clinton's Inauguration and the premiere of Evita, touring with acclaimed Legends in Concert. Chris has performed for The White House, Madison Square Garden, Xerox, and Amadeus, has even been requested by Sharon Osbourne to perform at Ozzie’s Birthday Bash. She has headlined New Years Eve 3 times in Washington DC for Pros in the City and most recently in Asia New Years Eve 2012..

Chris America’s extensive background in Television, Film, Radio, and Voice-over work includes appearances on; The Discovery Channel, MTV, CNN, Sirius Radio, Jay Leno’s “Tonight Show”, advancing to the Semi-finals in ABC’s “The Next Best Thing”, the only Madonna look alike chosen to appear on the “Oprah Winfrey Show”, and starring in a Documentary about Madonna on the A&E Network. Currently she is filming a year long documentary - "Just About Famous" which features only 5 artists who have obtained longevity and excellence in the Tribute industry to be released in theaters and Netfilx in 2013. I am base din the DC / TRI-STATE area however I am available to travel anywhere in the United States or abroad.

DO YOU DO FUND-RAISERS AND CHARITY EVENTS?
Causes that are near and dear to my heart may recieve special rate consideration whether it be adjusted charges or a 10% donation back to the charity should they hire me. Causes may be considered with proper documentation.

DO YOU HAVE BACK-UP DANCERS?
Back-up dancers can be available at an additonal cost or you may also supply your own at the location of your event. Because the majority of my work requests are out of town, dancers are not requested as often due to the added expense of their pay, transport and hotel etc...

HOW CAN I GET STARTED IN SECURING CHRIS AMERICA FOR AN EVENT?
Should you decide to hire Chris for your event you will need to fill out a two-page questionnaire that will help in contract preparations. A 50% deposit will be required to secure that date. If you require more time to decide, the date may be tentatively held for you whereas you will get first consideration should another request come in for that same time.

DO YOU HAVE ANY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OR NEED ANY SPECIAL EQUIPTMENT FOR YOUR SHOWS?
A good microphone and sound system is crucial for the success of my appearance should I actually be performing. A DJ typically has sufficient equipment to handle that. Should you need a sound system locally, a portable music and sound system is avaiable for an additonal cost. Also, I require that you are able to provide a secured and adequate room or storage area for my personal belongings during my appearance.

HOW DO YOU COMPARE TO OTHER MADONNA IMPERSONATORS AND CELEBRITY LOOK A LIKES?
I am an established talent in the Professional Tribute Industry and my work is highly regarded amongst my peers. I also carry a strong name recognition in the Madonna Fan community. Generally speaking, each talent has their own unique way of interpreting their character. Having our own strengths and weaknesses in areas that we excel in or are known for. The good ones remain gainfully employed on a regular basis thus have longevity, good credentials and a track record. My credentials/client list are accurate and not embellished or exagerrated such as claims of working LITERALLY "for" Madonna... I have never been one to do that and proudly stand by my own body of work. I believe you will find my work to be high caliber and professional.

MY MAIN GOAL WHEN WORKING ANY EVENT IS TO ENTERTAIN AND MAKE SURE YOUR GUESTS HAVE A GREAT TIME! The appearance is not so much about me as it is your guests having a terrific & memorable experience. I am especially excellent for certain venues, many being corporate functions, birthdays, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs etc... I am not a good candidate for long-term programs that require more than 2 or 3 weeks duration - as I do not desire to be away from my home base 3 months etc. at a time.

DO YOU SING LIVE?
I have my own customized backing tracks or I can sing live with a band. Like Madonna, I will sometime choose to double track or use a sweetener to enhance and deliver a fuller bodied sound for some songs and depending on the physicality of the songs I am performing. You will find that my voice is strong and authentic to Madonna's and that it is me you are hearing.

You are welcome to ask any questions without any mutual obligations or expectations. I understand that you may be in the early stages of deciding on which talent is right to hire for your event and you want to make sure you are comfortable with your choices and decisions.

My impersonation of Madonna is always tasteful and it is also tailored to the type of event and audience/guests that will be attending. My goal is to please you and to enhance your event - thus make you a happy client and I will be sure to discuss your expectations for the event with you so that I may meet them as best I can.

DO YOU PERFORM OVERSEAS?
I AM available for overseas events. Because of the extended travel time involved etc. Should I be hired outside of the USA, be prepared to pay a subtantially higher rate as it must be cost-effective for me. I do have a current passport.
